Using the RS-485
communication board
(GS-RS485-4 or GS-RS485-8)
provides an easy means to
break out the RS-485 signal
to several drives at one
location. This is a star
configuration, but the
transmission errors are
negligible, so this
configuration is acceptable for
proper operation of the VFDs.
