Chapter 8: Contacts
You can save up to 250 names and up to 3 telephone numbers per name. You can use voice
dialing to speak the contact name; see Using voice dialing on page 32 for information. You can
also import or export a Contact list using a USB device; see
Using USB Flash Drives with your
phone on page 47 for information.
Note:
If you press the Contacts button and nothing happens, your system administrator has
disabled the button.
Searching for a contact
You can search for any name by typing a full name or you can type just a few letters of the
name and let the telephone display matching entries. For example, if you press 3, the Contacts
list might display entries starting with 3, D, E or F depending on how you set up your contacts.
With each successive key you press, the Contacts list “drills down” to display more matches.
1. Press Contacts.
2. With the phone on-hook, use the dialpad to start typing the name for which you want
to search.
Keep in mind how your Contact list is set up. If you set up your contacts as “Last
Name, First Name” start typing the letters of the last name. If you have set up your
Contacts using a different scheme, type the most likely letter(s) that would match
the contact you want to find.
3. When you see the contact you want:
Touch the contact's phone number to dial the person, or
Touch the Details button next to the contact's phone number to select a
different phone number for or see detail information about this contact.
