Release Notes for Avaya Scopia® XT Series What’s New | 24
Important
Existing recorded files on your USB key will not be saved automatically when
activating the option to save to an external server. In any case you can manually
select any recorded file to be saved for the first time or again, from the Web Interface,
using the “Transfer” button.
You can save to an external server only the recordings hosted on your local USB
storage.
Configuring AESR as External FTP Server
When using Avaya Equinox® Streaming and Recording Server as Server Type, your company IT
administrator should assure that the option “Media AutoPublish” has been enabled on AESR. This
option allows AESR to accept files transferred with FTP/FTPS by an XT and can be activated as
shown in below picture via AESR Web Interface, menu Global Policies>Policies>Media AutoPublish.

If Avaya Equinox
®
Management is available in your company, the relevant information about users
and organization IDs (tenants) will be configured in AESR automatically. In this case it is also
possible for each file owner to retrieve their saved recordings through the Avaya Conferencing
Portal.
If AESR is used without Avaya Conferencing Management, it is also mandatory that all the users
and the organizations required to identify the file recording owners are defined in AESR in advance.
If your deployment is not configured in multitenant mode, use 999 as tenant/organization ID.
