To configure a T1/E1/PRI port on the gateway, type the following commands:
# Configure a PRI T1 link to connect to PSTN switch.
# Assuming the following:
# • All numbers start with 408 (dest-pattern 408.%) are routed to PRI.
# • The switch type is 5ESS.
# • The PRI link is connected to first port of first slot.

FXO Configuration
In equip the FXO port, several parameters need to be configured.
The Port Location on the gateway
The Signal – loop-start or ground-start
The Ring Number - number of rings after which the FXO goes off-hook.
range is 1-10
The Station Number – number of the associated PSTN trunk
Where to Route Inbound PSTN Calls – extension to route inbound calls
Pattern to match for Inbound SIP Calls – dial pattern to route to FXO
To configure FXO ports on the gateway, type the following commands:
# Configure a FXO link to connect to PSTN switch.
# Assuming the following:
# • Ensure port numbers are correct as this is reusing the PRI ports.
# • All numbers start with 408 (dest-pattern 408.%) are routed to FXO.
# • The FXO link is connected to first port of first slot of the SR.
