Overview
The Advanced Gateway 2330 can be configured to provide a number of voice
interfaces that allow connection to the PSTN as well as support of conventional
TDM-based telephony devices.
The gateway can be configured with T1/E1 PRI, BRI, FXS and FXO interfaces
providing flexible telephony connection for SCS users.
To provide access to the PSTN, the AG2330 supports the following „small
modules‟:
Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) modules, which can also be configured
as Centralized Automatic Message Accounting (CAMA) trunks
FXS modules, which can also be configured as Direct Inward Dialing
(DID) trunks
T1 modules, configured for T1 Channel Associated Signaling (CAS)
or Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Primary Rate Interface
(PRI)
E1 modules, configured for E1 R2 or ISDN PRI
ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) ST / U modules
