Operation during reception
Upon receiving a call, the control panel emits an acoustic signal in reply and reproduces MESSAGE 7, if any. This
message has the aim to supply the user with the necessary instructions to operate the system correctly. It must be
programmed according to the special procedure. At the end, a 60s-pause is inserted; during this time the user must
insert the user code followed by # (to be identified), and any other commands by using the keypad of the DTMF
telephone. If the code is correct, the telephone dialler confirms with 3 BEEPS; if the code is wrong the telephone
dialler emits 1 BEEP and allows to try the insertion of the code three times (within 60 seconds) before releasing. If
the user code is correctly identified, one of the following commands can be sent, according to table 1:
TC1 and/or TC2 output ON
TC1 and/or TC2 output OFF
TC1 and TC2 output query status
Note: The control panel emits a reception confirmation BEEP upon pressing each key of the remote telephone
Telephone number change remotely function
Through a SMS from a remote GSM, the telephone numbers included in the list can be changed; the number of the
remote telephone must be stored in the system with direct access function Y .
Make a message as follows:
A(old number) A(new number)
The control panel stores the change and sends a SMS for confirmation:
CHANGE OCCURRED *new number*
Call to Security Service Institutes
The AF921 control panel allows to use the standard digital protocols that can be transmitted to security service
institutes by telephone. For all details concerning this application, apply to Ave S.p.A. customer-service for

Note: Digital transmission via GSM may be inaccurate due to signal conversions made by the GSM net provider,
without any responsibility of the manufacturer of this control panel.
Event history file
The control panel stores up to 200 events (switched-on, switched-off and different alarms) by displaying the date,
time and the peripheral devices involved.
These events can be displayed by inserting the user code or the installer code followed by , the latest event will be
displayed.
The event history file can be deleted only by deleting all programming.
Use of the internal clock to control loads
When the control panel is off, the activation time (ON) and disactivation time (OFF) programme of the user to be
connected to the programmable relay is entered by pressing ESC.
Set the time and confirm it with Enable the function by pressing , "H" will be displayed on the top left side of the
control panel display. To disable press and "H" will disappear.
