Why is my Awoco Ventilation Hood not venting out properly?

  Several factors can affect the venting performance of your Awoco Ventilation Hood. First, ensure the distance between your stove top and the hood's bottom falls within the recommended 24” to 30”. Note that this might not apply to all ceiling configurations. Also, minimize the number of elbows and the length of ductwork, and verify that all joints are correctly connected, taped, and sealed. Finally, ensure the power is set to high speed when cooking heavily.

Why does the blower or fan seem weak in my Awoco SP-06?

  A weak blower or fan in your Awoco Ventilation Hood could be due to a few reasons. First, verify that you're using the correct duct size: at least 6” for a 6" blower and 8” for an 8" blower, as the range hood won't function efficiently with insufficient duct size. Also, inspect the duct for any clogs and ensure the damper (half-circular flapper) is installed correctly and opens properly.
