ThisFTPserverhasnothingtodowiththeproduct’sabilitytotransferimagesviaFTPtootherlocationsandservers.

TheRTSPserverrunningintheAxisproductallowsaconnectingclienttostartanH.264stream.TheRTSPportnumbercanbe
changedunderSystemOptions>Network>TCP/IP>Advanced.Thedefaultportis554.

H.264videostreamswillnotbeavailableiftheRTSPserverisdisabled.

SOCKSisanetworkingproxyprotocol.TheAxisproductcanbeconguredtouseaSOCKSservertoreachnetworksontheother
sideofarewallorproxyserver.ThisfunctionalityisusefuliftheAxisproductislocatedonalocalnetworkbehindarewall,and
notications,uploads,alarms,etcneedtobesenttoadestinationoutsidethelocalnetwork(forexampletheInternet).

QoS(QualityofService)
QoS(QualityofService)guaranteesacertainlevelofaspeciedresourcetoselectedtrafconanetwork.AQoS-awarenetwork

Axisproductcanmarkthefollowingtypesoftrafc:livevideo,liveaudio,event/alarmtrafcandmanagementtrafc.
