Thefollowingsettingsareavailable:
•Resolution.Selectthedefaultresolution.
•SelectAspectratiocorrectiontoimprovetheappearanceofimagesinthebrowserwhenthevideostreamhasadifferent
aspectratio.Pixelscomprisingtheimagearerearrangedsoastoprovideamoreaccuraterepresentationoftheimage.
•Compression.Thecompressionlevelaffectstheimagequality,bandwidthandlesizeofsavedimages;thelowerthe
compression,thehighertheimagequalitywithhigherbandwidthrequirementsandlargerlesizes.
•Mirrorimage.Ifrequired,theimagecanbemirrored.
•Rotateimage.Ifrequired,theimagecanberotated.
•Colorsetting.SelecteitherColororBlack&White.Black&WhiteuseslessbandwidththanColor.

VideostreamsoverHDMIcanonlyberotated180°or0°.
•Palette.Theimagecanbecoloredbyapplyingapalette.Colorsintheimageindicatetemperaturedifferencesandcanbe
usedtoimprovevisibilityofnedetails.Thepaletteselectedhereisusedasthedefaultpalette,otherpalettescanbe
selectedontheLiveViewpage.
•Maximumframerate.Toavoidbandwidthproblems,theframerateallowedtoeachviewercanbeLimitedtoaxed
amount.Alternatively,theframeratecanbesetasUnlimited,whichmeanstheAxisproductalwaysdeliversthehighest
frameratepossibleunderthecurrentconditions.

H.264,alsoknownasMPEG-4Part10/AVC,isavideocompressionstandardthatprovideshighqualityvideostreamsatlowbitrates.
AnH.264videostreamconsistsofdifferenttypesofframessuchasI-framesandP-frames.AnI-frameisacompleteimage,whereas
P-framesonlycontainthedifferencesfrompreviousframes.
GOPlength
AGroupofPictures(GOP)containsoneI-framefollowedbyanumberofP-frames.TheGOPlengthisthenumberofframes
betweentwoI-frames.
EqualvaluesforGOPlengthandframerateresultinoneGOPpersecond.AhigherGOPlengthvalueresultsinmoresmall-sized
P-framesandfewerlarge-sizedI-frameswhilekeepingthesameframerate.Inotherwords,ahighGOP-lengthvaluesaves
bandwidth,butthevideoqualitymaydecrease.AlowGOP-lengthvalueincreasesthevideoqualitybutrequiresmorebandwidth.
