Controlqueue
Note
•TheadministratorcanenableanddisablePTZcontrolsforselectedusers.
•Toidentifydifferentusersintheviewergroup,cookiesmustbeenabledontheclient.
•TheControlqueuepolltimeismeasuredinseconds.Formoreinformationseetheonlinehelp

TheadministratorcansetupaqueueforPTZcontrollersfromPTZ>ControlQueue.Oncesetup,thePTZControlQueuebuttons
appearintheliveviewwindowofferingoneviewerexclusivecontrolforalimitedperiodoftime.Otheruserswillbeplacedinqueue.
Auserwhobelongstoagroup(seeUsersonpage56)withahigherPTZprioritycangobeforeotherusersinthequeueandtake
controloftheproduct.Theorderofpriorityisasfollows:
1.Administrator—AnadministratortakesoverPTZcontrolregardlessofwhoisrstinqueue.Theadministratorwillbe
removedfromthequeue60secondsafterthelastPTZcontrolcommand.
2.Event—TheAxisproductcanbeconguredtogotoapresetpositionwhentriggeredbyanalarm(seeSetuprulesfor
eventsonpage41).Theeventwillimmediatelybeplacedrstinthequeueexceptwhenanadministratorisincontrol.
3.Operator—Sameasadministratorbutwithlowerpriority
4.GuardTour—Aguardtour(see)hasPTZcontrolforanindeniteperiodoftime.Itmaybeoverriddenbyanoperator,
eventoradministrator.Theguardtourwillresumewhenhigherprioritygroupsleavethequeue.
5.Viewer—Multipleviewersmustwaitfortheirturn.Theviewerhas60secondsPTZcontrolbeforecontrolispassed
ontothenextviewerinqueue.
RemoteGatekeeper
Gatekeepermonitorsanarea.WhenamotiondetectiontriggerstheGatekeeper,thePTZcameramovestoapresetposition.
Remotegatekeepersetup
OnlyonegatekeepercanbecreatedunderSetup>PTZ>RemoteGatekeeper.Additionalgatekeepersmustbecreatedasseparate
actionrules,seeHowtocreateadditionalgatekeepersonpage32.
Ifyoure-congureRemoteGatekeeper,thisoverwritesthepreviousconguration.
Therearethreestepstosetupagatekeeper:
1.Setuppresetpositionsforeachchannel.Youcancreateandsaveuptoamaximumof9presetpositionsperchannel.A
minimumofonepresetpositionisrequiredforthegatekeepertowork.Thepresetsconguredforeachchannelwillbe
