SincethePan/Tilt/Zoomcoordinatesdeneitssizeandposition,aprivacymaskisdynamicinrelationtothemonitoredarea.This
meansthatregardlessoftheangleandzoomofthelens,thesameplaceorobjectwillbehidden.Todeneatwhatmagnicationthe
maskshouldbedisplayed,zoomtothedesiredlevelandclickSetlevel.
Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

AudioModes
TheAxisproductsupportsthefollowingaudiomodes:
•Fullduplex–Simultaneoustwo-wayaudioallowingtheAxisproducttotransmitandreceiveaudioatthesametime.
Thereisnoechocancellation;iffeedbackloopsappear,trymovingthemicrophoneorthespeaker.
•Half-duplex–AudiocanbetransmittedtoandfromtheAxisproductbutonlyinonedirectionatatime.Totransmit
audiousingtheLiveViewpage,usetheTalkandListenbuttons,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage1 1.
•Simplex–NetworkCameraspeakeronly-AudioistransmittedfromaclienttotheAxisproductandcanbeplayedby
aspeakerconnectedtotheproduct.TotransmitaudiousingtheLiveViewpage,theTalkandMicrophoneonbuttons
mustbothbeactive,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage11.
•Simplex–NetworkCameramicrophoneonly-Audiocapturedbytheproductmicrophoneistransmittedfromthe
Axisproducttooneormoreclients.

UsetheInputgaintocontrolthevolumeoftheaudioinput.Ifthesoundistoolow,chooseahigherdBvalue,toamplifythe
sound.Ifthesoundistoohigh,choosealowerdBvalue.TheLevelbargivesavisualrepresentationoftheaudiosignallevelindB
relativetothefull-scaleinputlevel.
•Green—thesignalisatagoodlevel.
•Yellow—thesignalisbecomingdistorted.
