4.10 Disconnection Procedure
DANGER
Electric Shock Hazard
Never assume that equipment is safe to handle without using the necessary safety equipment and earthing
procedures.
Disconnection procedures must comply with local safety regulations.
Before disconnecting test lead, DUT must be discharged and earthed.
Earth connections must be removed last!
Disconnection procedure should be performed in reverse order than connection procedure. Make sure that system and DUT
isproperlydischargedandearthed(seeprocedure7.1.1usingadischargestick).Switcho󰀨systems(disconnectfromvoltage
supply)andpullo󰀨themainsplugs.Disconnectallcablesandearthwireslastly.Carefullyexaminethecableofpossibledam-
agesandremovedirtifnecessary.Establishashort-circuitconnectiontothecouplingcapacitorandthelter.
