THE WATER SYSTEM
WATER SYSTEMS:
WITHOUT AN ON-BOARD WATER
TANK
WATER SUPPLY
Various models are supplied with a 12v
submersible pump, controlled by a pressure
switch. This pump is designed to simplify the
connection of an outside water supply to the
caravan system. The pump comprises of a wall
socket, plug, hose and submersible pump. The
plug and socket combine both the water and
electrical connections and are designed for
pumping fresh water into the caravan.
DRAIN VALVE
Near to the water heater within one of the
front bunks you will find the drain valve
(pictured below). This valve is used to drain
your caravan of all water prior to being in
transit.
Before attempting to fill your water system you
should always ensure the yellow switch is in
the horizontal position (position e).
When you wish to purge the system of water
(prior to being in transit) you should place
the yellow switch in the upright position
(position f). The water system will now purge
any excess water.
SETUP
1. Open one cold tap (e.g. the kitchen sink).
2. Place the pump into the aqua roll
(pictured below).
3. Insert the plug end of the pump into the
wall socket and close the flap to lock plug
in place (pictured below)
4. Fit the dust cover over the opening in the
aqua roll (the dust cover should not be air
tight to the water container as air must be
allowed to enter the container to replace
the water being pumped out).
5. Switch on 12 volt supply at the main
control panel (isolator switch inside
caravan).
6. Water will flow from the open tap
expelling any trapped air in a few seconds.
7. Turn off the tap.
