    What to do if the TCS22 Bard TCS22-***-003 fails to operate?

      If the TCS22 Bard Controller fails to operate, you can try the following: First, check the 240 Volt Power. Second, check the TCS22 Circuit breaker. Third, check the 24 Volt Power by removing the power connector from the controller and checking for 24 volt Power from pin 1 to pin 3 on plug. Finally, check the Internal Fuse by removing the screws from the four corners of the front panel of the controller. The fuse is located in the upper left-hand corner of the controller.

      If the Compressor #1 light is on but the compressor fails to operate, check the A/C unit 24 Volt power from C to Y. Also, check the controller switch by removing junction connector J5 and checking for continuity from pin #2 to pin #5 on the controller with the Compressor light ON. Finally, check the wiring and connections.

      If the Blower #1 light is on but the blower fails to operate, check the A/C unit 24 Volt power from C to G. You can also check the controller switch by removing junction connector J5 and checking for continuity from pin #3 to pin #6 on the controller with the Blower light ON. It is also advisable to check the wiring and connections.

      If the Heater #1 light is on but the heater fails to operate, check the A/C unit 24 Volt power from C to W1. You can also check the controller switch by removing junction connector J5 and checking for continuity from pin #8 to pin #11 on the controller with the Compressor light ON. It is also advisable to check the wiring and connections.

    What to do if Economizer #1 light is on but the Economizer fails to operate in Bard Controller?

      If the Economizer #1 light is on but the economizer fails to operate, check the controller switch by disconnecting E from the terminal strip on the TCS22 and checking for continuity from E to F on the terminal strip on the controller with the Unit #1 Economizer light ON. You can also check the operation of the Economizer by connecting a jumper wire on the A/C unit low voltage terminal strip from R to G and connecting another jumper wire on the A/C unit low voltage terminal strip from E to F (Never connect power to these terminals) and check for Economizer operation.
