CHAPTER 2: RATINGS
1. SUPPLY VOLTAGES
A. The Barfield DFQ40K Test Set is powered from ordinary Alkaline C Cell Batteries.
B. There is also provision to power from the aircraft 28 VDC on P/N 101-01502.
C. There is no provision to power from AC mains.
2. CONNECTION DESCRIPTION
A. The 6 each Alkaline C Cell batteries are contained in 2 externally accessible battery
holders mounted on the case rear and which require no tools to load see Figure 5.
B. Aircraft 28VDC is connected to P/N 101-01502 via the electrical connection mounted on
the left side of the case. The 28 VDC Power Cable see Figure 12, is P/N 175-00252 and
terminates to the aircraft with a 2 terminal Twist Lock connector P/N HBL7465V.
