4.1.3 Switching on
► Press the top button on the operating panel to turn the device on.
The green LED on the left-hand side of the operating panel lights up to show that the de-
vice has been switched on. The white background lighting and the yellow LED flash
twice and an acoustic signal sounds at the same time.
CAUTION
Make sure that you can see that the device flashes and hear an acoustic signal. This
will ensure that the displays and controls are functioning correctly.
When the device has been correctly filled
with heat transfer fluid, the following
information appears in the display for a
maximum of 5 seconds:
the Barkey logo
the device name
the software version Vx
(x: current version)
the abbreviation for the language
variant (in the example shown: DE for
German)
the serial number (SN)

You will now see the main screen in the
display:
at top left is the current date and at top
right the current time
right and left are the shortcuts for the
preset programs using the two top se-
lection buttons, e.g. "BLOOD" and
"PLASMA"
and the entry "Menu" which launches
the plasmatherm menu system when
the confirm button is pressed.
