1.8 Wi-Fi Setup (400PRO Only) (Continued)
To configure your tool to connect to your Wi-Fi network, you will need to know your:
• SSID (Network Name)
• Security Type (WEP, WPA, WPA2)
• Password
Enter the required information, then connect your tool to the PC via the supplied mini USB cable. The application will recognize
the tool and save the configuration directly to it once the Save Config button is clicked.
1.9 Updating Your Tool
Once your tool is registered, verify the current software version on the tool is the latest version available, and update your tool if
necessary. Updating your PRO Series tool can be done in three ways, as detailed in the following sections.
1. TPMS Desktop method (recommended
2. PC method (alternate method sometimes used by Technical Support)
3. SD Card method (used by users without regular internet access)
1.9.1 TPMS Desktop Method
It is easiest and fastest to use TPMS Desktop to update your PRO Series tool; see Section 9.4
for complete details).
1.9.2 PC Method
NOTE:
PRO Series tools are compatible with PCs running Windows operating systems
(Windows 7 or newer). USB ports can be either version 1 or 2. Ensure you do not have
any other programs open/running during this process.
Log into your TPMS Support Center account (see Section 1.6
) and click the Tool
