5. Check preventive maintenance, indicated in the product manual, through records;
6. Use original parts and/or components for the Equipment, that is, only those supplied by Baumer SA;
7. Do not allow interventions by unauthorized technical agents for repairs, applications and installation of
additional components;
8. Formally return to Baumer SA (Mogi Mirim factory), through its authorized agent, within a maximum period
of 10 (ten) business days, the components and/or parts replaced under warranty.
Note: The warranty may be suspended at any time in case of pending issues regarding clause III item 8. If there
are outstanding return parts, corrective maintenance services will be carried out subject to payment, with the
presentation of a linked quote.
IV – Effectiveness of the Guarantee
The granting of the Warranty will only be formally given to the Buyer with proof of compliance with the items
contained in section III of this document, and must be sent to Baumer SA at the physical or electronic address
contained in the Installation Guide and/or Instruction for Use or Product Manual the following documents:
1. To grant the Initial Guarantee:
The. Term of receipt of the product by the carrier with acceptance and checking by the recipient;
B. Technical delivery report completed by the Baumer SA representative or by a person duly authorized to carry
it out;
w. Completed and approved Installation and Operation Qualification Protocols (where applicable).
2. To grant the Warranty after installation:
The. Proof of carrying out preventive maintenance in accordance with the Instructions for Use or
Product Manual.
Note: The warranty for exchanged components is subject to the term of Section III.8. Once the component
replaced under warranty has been received and, after technical analysis, if improper replacement is proven (due
to misuse, non-original component or situation that does not characterize a failure of the product or component
under warranty), Baumer SA reserves the right to charge the Buyer or person responsible for the exchange for
the replaced component.
V. Exclusions
The following items, among others compatible with the above, are not covered by the warranty:
1. Point installation services;
2. Consulting services;
3. Components external to the Product;
4. Cleaning, conservation and normal wear and tear materials;
5. Paper and glass;
6. Preventive maintenance labor;
7. Process qualification and validation tests;
8. Periodic measurement and calibration of measuring and control instruments;
9. Controller software update (when applicable), except in cases where proven program failures impair operating
and safety conditions;
10. Technician travel and accommodation expenses, freight, packaging and insurance;
11. Costs with process outsourcing due to corrective and preventive maintenance;
12. Damage caused by failures in water supplies, electrical energy (interruption, under or over voltage,
transients) or other changes subsequent to installation qualification;
13. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, fall, negligence, recklessness or incompetence;
14. Damage caused by storage or use in conditions outside the specifications contained in the Instruction for
Use or Product Manual;
15. Damage caused by equipment that produces or induces electromagnetic interference outside regulatory
limits;
16. Damage caused by accessories and third-party Products added to a Product marketed by Baumer SA;
