17. Damage caused by tampering with the Product, attempted repair or adjustment by third parties not
authorized by Baumer SA;
18. Damage caused by agents of nature, such as electrical discharges (lightning), floods, fires, landslides,
earthquakes, etc.;
19. Losses and damages caused by the Product or product performance, including, but not limited to, lost profits,
financial losses and productivity limitations, resulting from acts related to cases of non-coverage of this warranty;
20. Damage caused to the product installed after the expiration of the warranty periods described above;
21. Damage caused to the Product resulting from transportation.
VI. Limitations of Manufacturer's Liability
1. The obligations assumed by Baumer SA as a result of this Warranty Term are limited to those expressly
included herein;
2. The solutions provided in this Warranty Term are the only and exclusive ones offered to the customer;
3. Under no circumstances will Baumer SA be responsible for any direct or indirect damages, including lost
profits, special, incidental or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, loss or other legal theory;
4. Under no circumstances will Baumer SA's liability for material damage exceed the maximum price limit of the
Product that caused such damage.
VII. Additional Guarantees
Extended and/or special warranties will be subject to separate negotiation between Baumer SA and the Buyer.
After contracting, they will be registered in a specific supply contract for this purpose.
VIII. Others
In accordance with the policy of continuous development, Baumer SA reserves the right to make, without prior
notification, modifications to the product mentioned in this document.

other way, without the prior authorization of Baumer SA
5. Installation Requirements
The correct installation of the product, carried out by qualified technicians accredited by Baumer, is a necessary
condition for the validity of the product's limited warranty to the original purchaser and to guarantee the correct
functioning of the equipment.
Information about supplies with the quality requirements and necessary flow rates, procedures for unloading
and removing the product from packaging and information about areas and environmental conditions that are
required by the manufacturer for the installation and startup of the equipment, are contained in this Installation
Guide, which is made available to users of this product, by Baumer or its accredited representatives, after
confirmation of the supply order.

accredited representatives if this Installation Guide is not available. The contact is on the Medixx Support screen
or in the chapter 14.
5.1. Receiving, moving and removing the packaging
It is the buyer's responsibility to monitor the delivery of the equipment, check for possible damage, provide a
place for temporary storage, monitor the placement of the equipment in that temporary location and
subsequently transport the equipment to the installation location.
The carrier must remove the equipment from the means of transport used and send it to a temporary storage
location. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a clean and protected place from adverse weather conditions
such as sun, rain, wind, etc., and from access by unauthorized persons. The equipment must be kept in the
original wooden packaging until installation.
