After installation: After carrying out all necessary repairs, double-check that all connections are
correct to prevent leakage. Also check the position of the temperature sensors. Look for the
presence of any material that does not belong to the equipment in internal and external areas.
Check the integrity of the connections.
4. Baumer Limited Warranty Term
I. Presentation
This term establishes the limited warranty conditions of the BAUMER Product to the original Purchaser, in which
Baumer SA guarantees that its products are delivered free from manufacturing defects.
II. Warranty Term
The guarantee begins upon issuance of the sales invoice and has the following duration periods:
• 5 (five) years for pressure vessels (steam equipment and steam generation boiler);
• 13 (thirteen) months against manufacturing defects for general parts, not indicated in a specific warranty;
• 6 (six) months for electrical/electronic material, hydraulic seals and other items contained in the specific section
of the equipment's instructions for use or manual;
• 90 (ninety) days for components susceptible to normal wear and tear due to use such as lamps, plugs, fittings,
connectors, instrumentation cables, removable accessories, reverse osmosis membranes and other items
contained in the specific section of the instruction for use or equipment manual ;
III. Condition for granting the Limited Warranty
For the granting of the product warranty, formal proof of compliance with the following criteria is a condition:
1. The product has been received by the Buyer, certifying that it matches what was stated on the invoice at the
time of delivery, free of apparent damage and with the packaging intact.
2. The installation took place as determined in the Product Installation Guide or the Installation Manual, with the
correct completion of the Technical Delivery Report (RET).
3. The installation was carried out by a professional accredited or formally authorized by Baumer.
4. The Installation Qualification (QI) and Operation Qualification (QO) protocols have been executed and
approved as required by legislation and/or indicated as mandatory in the Installation Guide or
Manuals/Instructions for Use.
