Electromagnetic immunity
Portable and mobile radio equipment should be used no closer to the BEMER SET CLASSIC / PRO and its power cables,
than the recommended safety distance calculated from the equation applicable to the frequency transmitter.
EMISSION TESTS IEC 60601 TEST LEVEL COMPLIANCE LEVEL ELECTROMAGNETIC ENVIRONMENT GUIDELINES
Conducted RF interference according to IEC 61000-4-6
Radiated RF interference according to IEC 61000-4-3
3 V
actual value
150 kHz to 80 MHz outside of the ISM bands
3 V/m
80 MHz to 2.5 GHz
3 V
3 V/m
Recommended safety distance:
d=1.2 P
d=1.2 P for 80 MHz to 800 MHz
d=2.3 P for 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz
Where P is the output power rating of the transmitter in watts (W) according to the transmitter manufacturer and d
is the recommended safety distance in meters (m). The field strength from a stationary radio transmitter, according
to an onsite survey
a
is less than the compliance level
d
for all frequency ranges.
NOTE 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher the frequency range applies. NOTE 2: These guidelines may not apply in all situations.
The propagation of electromagnetic waves is affected by the absorption and reflection from structures, objects and people.
a) Field strength from fixed transmitters such as base stations for radio (cellular / wireless) telephones and land mobile radios, amateur radio, AM / FM radio stations and TV stations can not
be predicted theoretically with accuracy. To determine the electromagnetic environment of a stationary transmitter, a site survey should be considered. If the measured field strength in
the location in which the BEMER SET CLASSIC / PRO is used exceeds the conformity level listed above then the BEMER SET CLASSIC / PRO should be monitored to verify normal operation.
If abnormal performance is observed, additional measures might be necessary, such as readjusting the BEMER SETS CLASSIC / PRO or changing to another location.
b) The field strength is less than 3V/m over the frequency range of 150 kHz to 80 MHz.
