Installation Checklist
Following are the steps needed to install an XPR-10 Series Lift; perform them in this order.
☐ 1. Review the Safety Rules.
☐ 2. Plan for Electrical work.
☐ 3. Make sure you have the necessary Tools.
☐ 4. Review the Installation Orientation.
☐ 5. Review Clearances around the Lift.
☐ 6. Select the Installation Location.
☐ 7. Choose a Wide or Narrow Configuration (
do not proceed until you have chosen
).
☐ 8. Put Equalizing Cables into position.
☐ 9. Add Extension Pieces for models with extensions.
☐ 10. Put Hydraulic Lines into position.
☐ 11. Create Chalk Line Guides for the Posts.
☐ 12. Install the Posts.
☐ 13. Prepare and install the Overhead Assembly, Safety Shutoff Bar, and the Microswitch.
☐ 14. Install the Equalizing Cables.
☐ 15. Route the Safety Lock Cable.
☐ 16. Mount the Power Unit (do not connect it yet).
☐ 17. Install the Safety Assemblies and the Safety Lock Cable.
☐ 18. Connect the Hydraulic Lines.
☐ 19. Learn about Arm Restraint Gears.
☐ 20. Install the Lift Arms.
☐ 21. Perform final Leveling.
☐ 22. Contact the Electrician.
☐ 23. Wire the Microswitch (
requires an Electrician
).
☐ 24. Connect the Power Unit (
requires an Electrician
).
☐ 25. Install the Power Disconnect Switch (
requires an Electrician
).
☐ 26. Install the Thermal Disconnect Switch (
requires an Electrician
).
☐ 27. Install the Safety Covers.
☐ 28. Lubricate the Lift.
☐ 29. Perform an Operational Test.
☐ 30. Review the final Checklist.
☐ 31. Leave the Manual with the owner/operator.
