Periodic maintenance and adjustment

Air lter element
The air lter element must be replaced
at the intervals specied in the periodic
maintenance and lubrication chart.
Have a Benelli dealer replace the air lter
element.
Checking the engine idling speed
Check the engine idling speed and, if ne-
cessary, have it corrected by a Benelli de-
aler.
Engine idling speed:
1500-1600 r/min.
Checking the throttle grip free play
Measure the throttle grip free play as
shown.
Throttle grip free play
Throttle grip free play:
3.0 - 5.0 mm
Periodically check the throttle grip free
play and, if necessary, have a Benelli de-
aler adjust it.
