Maintenance
Suction Strainer
When changing this filter it is recommended the tank is removed
and cleaned.
z Thoroughly clean the tank and surrounding area.
z Drain the hydraulic oil. Undo the hose clip on the suction
strainer hose and pull the hose from the suction strainer.
z Unscrew the suction strainer from the tank.
Dispose of Waste Oil and Strainer in an Environmentally Safe Way
z Clean the suction filter tank mounting face.
z Screw in a new suction strainer using a new sealing washer,
fully tighten.
Hydraulic Tank Removal
z Remove the engine centre cover and engine access doors.
z Thoroughly clean the tank and surrounding area.
z Drain the hydraulic oil.
z Remove the suction strainer hose and oil return hoses.
z Undo the four fixing nuts and bolts. Take care not to lose the
spacers.
z Lift the tank out of the frame.
z Thoroughly clean the tank and surrounding area before
refitting the tank.
z Refitting is the reversal of the above procedure.
Ensure Spacers are in Position BEFORE Tightening Bolts
z Refill the tank. Check for oil leaks.
