Fuel feed system obstructed (pipes,
fuel tank, tap)
Clean out the system
Air filter excessively dirty Follow procedure on page 65
No current getting to the spar-
kplug
Clean or replace the sparkplug.
If the problem persists, contact one
of our dealers
Engine flooded
With the throttle closed, active the
Hot Start knob and operate the kick-
start lever repeatedly
Drained floatbowl
Operate the manual tap as described
on page 50

MISFIRES
Sparkplug with incorrect
electrode gap
Set the electrode gap correctly.

Sparkplug dirty Clean or replace the sparkplug
Earthing fault Check insulation at kill switch
