  If your BeyondTel Telephone USB phone isn't communicating with your PC, first verify that the USB port is functioning correctly. If the USB port is in a normal state, you may need to reinstall the device driver. To do this, go to Start > Setting > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager. Check the status of 'USB Human Interface Device', 'USB Audio Device', and 'USB Composite Device' to ensure they are in a normal state.

  If the BeyondTel Telephone icon is not appearing in the taskbar, first ensure that Skype is running. If it isn't, launch Skype. If Skype is running, check if the icon is visible within the Skype window. If the icon is still missing, go to Tools > Options > Privacy > Related Task: Manage other program’s access to Skype > Change, and then choose 'allow this program to use Skype'.
