GENERAL
ALWAYS Turn O, Unplug From Power Source and Perform
Lockout/Tagout Procedure to This Machine BEFORE Servicing.
CHAIN: Chains should be protected against dirt and moisture. Chain life will vary appreciably depending upon its
lubrication. The better the lubrication, the longer the chain life. Lubrication eectiveness will vary with the
amount of lubrication and frequency of application. Ideally, a lubricant lm should always be present between
the working parts. Manually lubricate the chain after the 1st six weeks then every 6 months thereafter.
a. Lubrication: The chain is accessible by removing the rear panel. Remove 8 Pan Head Screws, carefully pull
down on the panel to remove it from the Base Cover. Spray or brush lubricant on chain.
b. Tension: The chain is accessible by removing the rear panel. Remove 8 Pan Head Screws, carefully pull
down on the panel to remove it from the Base Cover. Adjust tension as neccesary using eccentric gears. Total
chain ex should be ⅛” to ⅜” for proper chain tension. Do not over tension as this can cause excessive wear
and premature failure of drive system.
a. Tension: The belt is accessible by removing the rear panel. Remove 8 Pan Head Screws, carefully pull
down on the panel to remove it from the Base Cover. Adjust belt using jacking stud to move the motor.
CLEANER ARM: The cleaner arm is made up of numerous pieces, some of which are wearable. Order and replace
neccesary parts when you rst notice an issue with them.
BELT: Belt life will vary appreciably depending upon its tension. If the belt is too tight it will put undue stress on
the motor shaft and gear box possibly damaging all three. If the belt is too loose, it will slip and the machine will
not run with a load on it.
1. Machine should be generally inspected every time it is cleaned (at least daily) to ensure that it is in good condition
and has not been damaged or tampered with.
BEARINGS: Two zerk ttings are accessible by removing the rear panel. Remove 8 Pan Head Screws,
carefully pull down on the panel to remove it from the Base Cover. The rst tting is found under the hopper
base, this lubricates the Paddle Shaft Bearings. The second tting is found below the rst, on the Drum Shaft
Bearing Housing. Add grease every four months. Do NOT overgrease pushing seals out of place.
