  If your BKI fryer is experiencing pressure loss or not releasing pressure, it could be due to a leaking dead weight valve (clean the weight and orifice), a leaking lid gasket, a leaking or stuck solenoid valve (listen for a solid metallic CLICK sound when activating; if you hear no sound or a slow buzzing, there may be an issue), or a safety valve that isn't seating properly. For issues beyond cleaning the weight and orifice, contact an authorized BKI service agent for corrective action.

  If your BKI Fryer is experiencing pressure loss, or is not releasing pressure, the dead weight valve may be leaking. Try cleaning the weight and orifice. If the lid gasket is leaking, the solenoid valve is leaking or stuck, or the safety valve is not seating, contact an authorized BKI service agent for corrective action. If problems persist, contact an authorized BKI service agent for corrective action.

  If the filter system on your BKI fryer isn't working, first try pressing the reset button on the end of the pump and the hi-limit reset button under the control panel. Other potential issues include loose connections (tighten them), a filter valve that isn't open, filter paper clogged with crumbs (change the paper), a clogged pump (check it), or a worn motor and pump coupling. Also, ensure the drain valve is completely closed and that there is power to the control panel. If these steps don't resolve the issue, contact an authorized BKI service agent.

  If the computer on your BKI fryer hangs, press and hold the Toggle/Clear button while moving the FRY/OFF/FILTER switch from FRY to OFF and back to FRY. If the problem continues, contact an authorized BKI service agent.

What to do if the filter system is not working on my BKI LGF Fryer?

  If your BKI Fryer's filter system isn't working, try the following: * Press the reset button on the end of the pump and the hi-limit reset button under the control panel. * Ensure all connections are tight. * Change the filter paper if it's clogged with crumbs. * Make sure the drain valve is completely closed. If the motor hums but doesn't pump, check for a clogged pump. Note that the filter valve must be open. For motor and pump coupling worn you should contact an authorized BKI service agent for corrective action. If problems persist after these steps, contact an authorized BKI service agent for corrective action.
