1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Data usage.
3. If necessary, tap the Cellular tab.
4. If necessary, turn on the Cellular data switch.
5. Do one of the following:
• To turn
o background data for all apps and services on your device, tap > Restrict background data, and then
tap OK.
• To turn o background data for an app or service, tap the app or service. Turn on the Restrict app background
data switch, and then tap OK.
• To group background data and send it at set intervals, turn on the Queue cellular data switch.
To let all apps and services on your device send data in the background, tap
> Allow background data. To let an app or
service send data in the background, turn o the Restrict app background data switch.
Stop sending data on some Wi-Fi networks
You can stop apps and services from sending data in the background, and prevent your device from downloading large files
when it's connected to certain Wi-Fi networks.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Data usage > > Network restrictions.
3. Tap a network name.
