Manage the Display Brightness and
Screen Timeout
► Tap Options > Display > Screen Display.
• Select a lower setting for Backlight Brightness.
• Select a lower setting for Backlight Timeout.
• Turn on Automatically Dim Backlight.
Close Applications When You Are
Finished Using Them
► When you switch from one application to
another, some applications (such as the
Browser) will continue to run in the background.
To close an application, press > Close.
Manage Your Smartphone’s Wireless
Functions
Disable any wireless features such as Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth, when you are not using them.
► Tap the connections area at the top of the
Home screen and clear the check box for any
features you are not using.
