Switching NEWS on/off
➮ Press the MENU button 8.
➮ Keep pressing the or button
: until “DAB_NEWS_OFF” or
“DAB_NEWS_ON” appears in the
display.
If you wish to receive news reports, se-
lect “DAB_NEWS_ON”. If you do not
wish to receive news reports, select
“DAB_NEWS_OFF”.
➮ Set the required setting using the

➮ When you have finished making
your changes, press the MENU
button 8 or OK ;.
● WEATHER:
Weather reports (WEATHER) are
provided in addition to the traffic
announcements. If you wish, you
can allow the weather reports to be
played.

If you wish to receive weather reports,
select “DAB_WEAT_ON”. If you do not

➮ When you have finished making
your changes, press the MENU
button 8 or OK ;.
Note:
You can interrupt a news or weather
report whilst it is being played by press-
ing the TRAF button >. The general
priority settings are retained and the
next report will be played.
● DAB Regional (TA-REG):
Since DAB frequencies are broad-
cast over a large area of the coun-
try, the situation may arise whereby
you receive traffic announcements
that are irrelevant for your region.
In order to avoid this, the DAB
broadcasting ranges are divided
into regions.
Switching TA-REG on/off
➮ Press the MENU button 8.
➮ Keep pressing the or button
: until “DAB_TREG_OFF” or
“DAB_TREG_ON” appears in the
display.
If you wish to receive announcements
that apply to particular regions, select
“DAB_TREG_ON”. If you only wish to
receive non-regional announcements,
select “DAB_TREG_OFF”.
➮ Set the required setting using the
and buttons :.
➮ When you have finished making
your changes, press the MENU
button 8 or OK ;.
Note:
● Since this function is not supported
by all broadcasters, it is possible
that you will not receive any traffic
announcements if the TA-REG
function is activated. If you do not
receive any traffic announcements
