Naming CDs
You can also name CDs in CD changer
mode (not in the case of the Compact
Drive MP3).
To name CDs in the CD changer,
➮ select the “CDC NAME” item in the
menu.
➮ when in CD changer mode, carry
out the steps described in the sec-
tion entitled “Naming CDs” in the
CD mode chapter.
CD names in CD changer mode can be
a maximum of seven characters long,
and up to 99 names can be stored.
Deleting a CD name
You can quickly and easily delete a CD
name.
➮ Listen to the CD whose name you
want to delete.
➮ Press the MENU button 8.
➮ Select “CD NAME” or “CDC
NAME” using the
/ buttons :.
➮ Press the or button :.
The name of the CD is displayed.
➮ Keep the MENU button 8 pressed
down for longer than four seconds
until “DELETE NAME” appears.
The name of the current CD will be de-
leted.
Deleting all stored names of all
CDs
You can quickly and easily delete all the
names of all CDs.
➮ Listen to a CD.
➮ Press the MENU button 8.
➮ Select “CD NAME” or “CDC
NAME” using the / buttons :.
➮ Press the or button :.
The name of the CD is displayed.
➮ Keep the MENU button 8 pressed
down for longer than eight
seconds until “DELETE ALL” ap-
pears.
All stored names will be deleted.
