Scanning tracks (SCAN)
You can briefly play all the tracks on the
CD.
➮ Press the OK button ; for longer
than two seconds. The next track
will then be played briefly.
Note:
● You can set the scanning time
(scantime). For further details,
please read the section entitled
“Setting the scantime” in the “Radio
mode” chapter.
Stopping SCAN and continuing
playback
➮ To stop scanning, press the OK
button ;.
The currently scanned track will then
continue to be played normally.
Repeating individual tracks or
whole directories (REPEAT)
If you want to repeat a track,
➮ press button 4 RPT >.
“REPEAT TRCK” appears briefly in the
display.
To repeat the whole directory,
➮ press the 4 RPT button > again.
“REPEAT DIR” appears briefly in the
display.
Deactivating REPEAT
To stop the current track or current di-
rectory from being repeated,
➮ keep pressing the 4 RPT button >
until “REPEAT OFF” appears brief-
ly in the display.
MP3 MODE
Pausing playback (PAUSE)
➮ Press button 3 >.
“PAUSE” appears in the display.
Cancelling pause
➮ Press button 3 > while in
pause mode.
Playback is resumed.
Setting the display
Whenever another track is played in
MP3 mode, the names of the artist, al-
bum and track are displayed as scroll-
ing text (only if ID3-tags are stored on
the CD). If there are no ID3-tags, only
the file name will be displayed. After the
scrolling text has been displayed, you
have the option of choosing between
different displays for MP3 mode.
The following are available:
● The track number and playing time.
● The track number and clock time.
● The directory and track numbers
● The track name or file name (if no
track name is available) as scroll-
ing text. The tracks must be saved
on the CD together with so-called
ID3-tags in order for the track
names to be displayed.
➮ Repeatedly press the / DIS but-
ton 7 for longer than two seconds
until the required display appears.
