9.1.4 Cellular Data and SIM Card
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > cellular+SIM.
Switch Data connection to On to connect to a mobile data network. If you connect the cellular data, it may
incur extra charges.
• SIM for data connection: Tap drop-down list to select the SIM card to use for data connections.
• Data roaming options: Tap drop-down list to set the device to use data connections when roaming. If you
select the roam, it may incur extra charges depending on your service agreement.
• Highest connection speed: Tap drop-down list to select the network service speed from 2G, 3G, or 4G.
• SIM 1 settings: Tap to configure the settings on SIM card 1.
• SIM 2 settings: Tap to configure the settings on SIM card 2.
9.1.5 Data Sense
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > data sense.
Use these settings to use data connections more efficiently and check your data usage.
• set limit: Tap to view options about limiting your data usage.
Limit type: Tap drop-down list to select your calling plan.
Days until data expires: Tap drop-down list to select the remaining days until your data expires. This
setting only appears if you select one time in Limit type setting.
Monthly reset date: Tap drop-down list to select the starting date of the data plan for every month. This
setting only appears if you select the monthly in Limit type setting.
Available data: Tap Available data field to set the amount of data you can use manually. This setting
only appears if you select one time in Limit type setting.
Monthly data limit: Tap Monthly data limit field to set a limit for the amount of data you can use in a
month manually. This setting only appears if you select the monthly in Limit type setting.
Units: Tap drop-down list to select the data unit from MB and GB.
• Restrict background data and Restrict background data when roaming: Enable these options to
always restrict the background data or only while roaming respectively.
• Browser data savings: Tap drop-down list to view options about conserving data when using the browser.
off: Tap and select to download the all web pages without any restriction.
standard: Tap and select to download the web pages with compressed pictures and to block ads.
high: Tap and select to download only some parts of web pages.
automatic: Tap and select to configure the optimum settings in accordance with the information you
entered in the set limit menu.
