9.1.6 Internet Sharing
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > internet sharing.
Switch Sharing to On to share the cellular data via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
• Tap Share over drop-down list to select the desired sharing method: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
• Tap to edit the broadcast name and password.
9.1.7 NFC
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > NFC.
Switch Tap to share to On to turn on this feature. You can share photos, web pages and more by tapping
on another NFC-enabled device.
• Check the trusted apps that can be opened without a confirmation when using the NFC feature from Apps
I trust list.
• Switch Tap to pay to On to make a payment by tapping your device on NFC-enabled card readers.
You can only use the Tap to pay feature if you have inserted the SIM card.
• Tap Active cards work drop-down list to select the situations when you will use the Tap to pay feature.
9.1.8 VPN
On the Apps screen, tap Settings > VPN.
Switch Status to On to connect to a VPN (Virtual private network). You can safely access a private network
remotely via a VPN.
• Tap to add the VPN profile.
Server name or IP address: Tap field to enter the unique VPN server name or IP address which can
easily be identified by users.
Type: Tap drop-down list to select the type of VPN.
Connect using: Tap drop-down list to select the certification method for connecting to the VPN.
If you want to be certified, install a certificate on your device first.
User name and Password: Tap field to enter your name and password to be certified on the VPN
server.
Server certificate validation: Switch this option to On for checking the details of the server certificate.
Choose one server certificate from the drop-down list and tap details. This setting appears only if you
select certificate in Connecting using.
Connect automatically: Switch this option to On for connecting to VPN automatically if required.
Send all traffic: Switch this option to On for sending all network traffic through the VPN tunnel.
Profile name: Tap field to enter the name of the profile.
advanced: Tap to configure advanced settings such as proxy settings and the DNS suffix.
