The external call is now being directed to the rear handset.
The connection between the two handsets is terminated.
Proceed similarly to divert a call in the opposite direction,
from the rear handset to the front handset.
Ending a call
Press.

If you would like to divert a call from the hands-free unit to
the rear handset:
During the call
Press on the rear handset.
Display on the rear handset shows:
Do You Wish to Answer The Call?
At the rear handset
Select.

Select.
Telephone conference
If you wish to connect several parties to form a conference
call:
First connect the front and rear handsets, see page 212.
Take an external call at one of the handsets or call an
external party, then:
Select at that handset.
Displays of both handsets show:
Conference

You can connect up eight external parties and two hand-
sets in the car to form a conference in this way.
Terminating a conference call
Press.
Text/SMS
messages
You can send text messages known as SMS (Short
Message Services) messages  texts up to 160 characters
long  to another GSM phone or receive them from another
GSM phone.
