CD player
Safety instructions
Operating temperatures
The CD player is desig-
ned for operation in the
temperature range from 0°C to
60°C.
To prevent malfunctions, only
operate the CD player in the
given temperature range.c
High atmospheric humi-
dity can fog over the
focussing lens of the laser
beam and thus lead to reading
errors.c
Repairs
The CD player is a laser
product of class 1.
Do not remove the housing
cover; have repairs performed
only by trained and qualified
personnel.c
Handling CDs
Only hold CDs on the outer
edges.
Avoid fingerprints, dust,
scratches and moisture on
the CD.
Do not stick anything on
CDs.
Clean CDs from time to time,
wiping with a cleaning cloth
from the inside towards the
outside.
Switching on the CD
player
If there is no CD in the CD
drive, the CD player
starts automatically when a
CD is inserted.c
Switch on the radio (
b 19)
Press the CD/* button to
select the CD player
(
b 13).
» The first track or last track
played on the CD is played.
» The track that is playing is
shown in the display.
» If no CD is inserted,
NO CD
appears in the display.
» If the CD cannot be read,
CD ERROR appears in the
display.
