4.21 Changing hydraulic oil and
filter

l Screw the filler socket on (Fig. 64) .
l Draw the hydraulic oil out with a pump.
Environment
Catch running out oil, do not let it seep into the
ground and dispose of environmentally.

Caution
Draw the hydraulic oil out at operating temper-
ature.
Stand the machine on level ground.
Change the hydraulic oil filter with every oil
change.

l Unscrew the fitting and take the cover off (Fig.
65) .
l Take the hydraulic oil filter out and wipe the fil-
ter chamber out with a lint-free clean cloth.
l Install the new hydraulic oil filter.
l Attach the cover and fasten it with the screws.
l Fill in hydraulic oil to the middle of the inspec-
tion glass.
For quality and quantity of oil refer to the table
of fuels and lubricants.
l Screw the filler socket on.
l After filling the hydraulic oil tank and a short
test run check for leaks, if necessary tighten
the fastening screws.
