2.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
A qualified engineer must carry out the installation, modification or repair of the appliance in a workmanlike

The equipment is not designed to work in an explosive atmosphere. Due to this, it must not be
installed in a zone subject to ATEX directive.
These units must only be placed against a wall or a partition. The latter must be of non-combustible
materials or, if not, must be covered with an appropriate, good insulating and non-combustible

The manufacturer certifies that the packaging meets the provision 94/62/CE (provision relating to
packagings and packaging waste of 12.20.94) and requests that final installer (and user) observes
the rules relating to the removal of the packaging (recycling or reconditioning).
In case of mobile appliances, always handle the appliance carefully to avoid tilting the equipment.
In case of masonry-based equipment (see the section "Assembly of appliances on a masonry
base"), all measures to be taken by the installer to avoid shifting and dropping of the equipment.

Never place a source of heat or steam, or water projection close to the equipment.
Warning! In no case can the ready-to-install induction tops be installed on a closed base
and the technical cupboard of the induction units must not be used as a storage cupboard
due to the air inlets placed under the equipment.
The ready-to-install tops are to be installed exclusively:
- on a fixed one-piece base equipped with 4 adjustable screw jacks and a lower shelf.
- as cantilever fixation.
Warning! In no case can the equipment be installed near any source of heat whatever such
as solid plates, open burners, fryers, grills, bain marie, …etc.

stacked on other appliances under any circumstances.
If the appliance is to be moved without its pallet, it should be carried and not pulled.
