27.4 Delete User
Use the Delete User function to delete a user.
Use this function to remove users from the system. All user data
(name, passcode, keyfob) is deleted and cannot be recovered.
Use Edit User if you only wish to remove a user's authority
(disable the user), but retain the user’s data. You need to know
the user number for the passcode you want to delete. The user
numbers identify users in reports transmitted from your system.
Deleting a user:
1. Open the Main menu.
2. Use [NEXT] to go the Users menu option, and press [ENTER],
or simply press [4].
3. Use [NEXT] to go to the Delete User menu option, and press
[ENTER], or simply press [4].
4. Enter your passcode and press [ENTER].
5. Enter the number for the user you wish to delete, and press
[ENTER].
6. Press [ENTER] to continue.
7. Press [ENTER] to confirm you wish to delete the selected
user. The keypad shows User ## deleted, and then returns to
the previous menu.
8. Press [ESC] to exit the menu.
