Connect cables
The drive unit can be destroyed if a plug is con-
nected incorrectly.
The wiring diagram of Active Line and Performance
Line is different to that of Classic+ Line!
If not using the light connections, do not remove blanking
plugs on the slots.
Lay cables, fit stone guard
– Secure surplus cable lengths using cable ties or in cable
grooves provided (depending on version).
Ensure that the cables are not pinched.
–Mount stone guard 16 on motor housing
Torx T20; Tightening torque 1–1,5 Nm.
Install chain guard adapter (optional)
An adapter 17 is required to fit a chain guard.
– Attach adapter with three screws (not supplied as stand-
ard).
– Position chain guard adapter at the screwing points and
screw onto motor housing (tightening torque 2–3 Nm and
screw lock medium-tight).
