Why does my Bosch Climate 6100i outdoor unit start and stop continuously?

  If your Bosch Heat Pump's outdoor or indoor unit starts and stops continuously, there might be insufficient or too much refrigerant in the system. Check the tightness of the pipes, reseal if needed, and refill the refrigerant or remove refrigerant with a refrigerant recovery unit. Also, moisture or impurities in the refrigerant circuit could be the cause, so evacuate the refrigerant circuit and fill it with new refrigerant. High voltage fluctuations can also cause this issue, so install a voltage regulator. Finally, a defective compressor could be the problem, requiring a compressor replacement.

  If your Bosch Heat Pump's output is too low, the heat exchanger of either the outdoor or indoor unit might be soiled. Clean the heat exchanger. Also, check for a lack of refrigerant. Inspect the pipes for tightness, reseal if necessary, and refill the refrigerant.
