8.3 Indicating faults
In the case of a fault on the display, we must distinguish between the following:
- If the error message
Err 32Err 32
Err 32Err 32
Err 32 appears (fault in the display control), simply replace the display module without performing further tests.
- Likewise, if a single segment or an LED has failed, replace the display module.
- If the entire display appears much too dark, check whether the auxiliary power supply P
ANZ has failed:
First, check the continuity of fuse F6 on the transformer
(or measure: 7 V ~ between grey and red).
Examine the display module to ensure that connector
X3 to the transformer is in order and that the auxiliary
supply P
ANZ is rectified:
PANZ = 7 V
The measuring points are on the rear of the display
module; see adjacent diagram.
If the results of these checks are negative,
replace the display module.
i In order to avoid damage when opening up the
display module on the front panel, press all buttons
at the same time.
Take care not to damage the LED's!
