There are no position keys on the angle element of
FWA.
Setting the position on the vehicle happens with the
help of DIP- switch SW1 on the measuring processor
board.
Following allocations are applicable for DIP- switch

Board layout according to functionalities11.4.4
For simple identification of different assembly variants,
resistances are positioned on measuring processor.
EASY: Conductor board for MWA without shaft encoder.
SA: Conductor board for MWA with shaft encoder.
Flash- EPROM11.4.5
Software setting and/ or updates care carried out by
flashes ( = describe EPROMs with the help of cable
connection to computer and execute a software
program on it) with Service program "Flash writer".
Reading the software information and error messages is
done with service tool "System monitor".
Reading/ reflecting the adjustment values11.4.6
On every switch-on/reset of the measuring element
(MWA), a check sum comparison is undertaken
between the contents of EPROMS of measuring
processor and the camera. If there are any differences,
the adjustment values, correction values and null
point values of the camera are reflected in measuring
processor.
That means the memory of the camera is the master
memory for the adjustment value.
If there is any difference between the measuring
processor and camera memory, then in any case the
values from the camera are read and reflected in the
measuring processor.
Change measuring processor11.4.7
In case of manual change of measuring processor
i
board, it is necessary, e.g. to newly supply or read
the adjustment values.
The correction values are independently reflected in
the measuring processor during switching the MWA in
background of the camera.
Manual contact through service technician is not
applicable.
After change of the measuring processor boards it
!
is to be ensured that all four boards have the same
software. MWA´S see Flash- EPROM.
