Sliding Fences
To provide sufficient
(minimum 6") spacing from
h
and to saw blade, extend the sliding fences and
base extensions when making extreme bevel,
miter or compound cuts.
OPERATING SLIDING FENCES
1. Loosen the fence lock knob counter clockwise ½
turn to loosen fence (see Fig. 31).
2. Slide fence to the desired position.
3. Tighten the lock knob clockwise to lock fence
position.
REMOVING SLIDING FENCES
The sliding fence may need to be removed when
preforming extreme bevel cuts and most
compound cuts.
1. Loosen the fence lock knob counter clockwise 4
rotations, see Fig. 31.
2. Lift and remove fence.
