7.3.2 Above-reservoir installation
Above-reservoir installation means that the axial piston unit is installed above the
minimum fluid level of the reservoir.
Observe the maximum permissible suction heighth

is derived from the total pressure loss.
Recommendation for installation position 10 (drive shaft upward): A check valve
in the drain line (cracking pressure 0.5bar) can prevent the housing area from
draining.
