Always make sure where the centre of gravity is before any lifting. Never stand
below a hanging motor or the torque arm.

1.1.2 Motor – rope drum – shaft adapter
Mounting of rope drum or shaft adapter
Clean the mounting surfaces carefully before assembly. (This is a friction joint).
Tighten the bolts to the correct tightening torque. All bolts shall be lubricated with
oil, see below.
Eccentricity and axial wobble of mounting surfaces on associated equipment, such
as shaft and rope drums, must not exceed 0.15 mm (0.006 in) for the inner and
outer anges.
