Integrated Zone Amplifier / Zone Amplifier System is a new 1 unit high,
1/2 rack width power amplifier family of products that are used to drive the Bose DS16 and the
DS40 speaker systems with individual EQ settings to match.
There are 4 chassis in this product family; Hi-Z Master, Hi-Z Slave, Lo-Z Master and Lo-Z Slave.
There are two Hi-Z units; a Master unit that has all of the required input and output connectors to
accommodate an installation along with built-in DSP for the required EQ’s. The Hi-Z Master unit
puts out 90 Watts in either 70 or 100V mode. The associated Hi-Z Slave unit is a 1 unit high, 1/2
rack width unit that would be used with the Hi-Z master to provide another channel of 90 Watts of
power at either 70 or 100V output. The Hi-Z Slave unit is driven by an output from the Hi-Z Master
unit.
There are two Lo-Z units; a Master unit that has all of the required input and output connectors to
accommodate an installation along with built-in DSP for the required EQ’s. The Lo-Z Master unit
puts out 50 Watts per channel, with 2 channels of output at 4 ohms. The associated Lo-Z Slave
unit is a 1 unit high, 1/2 rack width unit that would be used with the Lo-Z master to provide an-
other 2 channels of 50 Watts each into 4 ohms. The Lo-Z Slave unit is driven by an output from
the Lo-Z Master unit.
