•Followalloperatorsafetyinstructionsandage
restrictionsfoundinyourUTVOwner’sManual.
•Ensurethatonlytrainedpersonnelinstalland
performmaintenanceontheequipment.
•Keepyourhands,feet,andclothingawayfrom
movingpartsandmountingpoints.
•Ensuretheplowisproperlyattachedtothevehicle
beforemovingit.
•Alwayswearappropriatepersonalprotective
equipmentwhenloading,unloading,andservicing
theplow.Wearsubstantial,slip-resistantfootwear,
cold-weatherclothing,safetyglasses,anddust
protection.
Operation
•Usea500kg(1/2ton)minimumliftingdeviceto
moveheavyplowcomponents.
•Whentransportingthevehicle,positiontheplow
soasnottoblockyourvision.
•Donotexceed8km/h(5mph)whenchanging
thebladeposition.
•Donotexceed38km/h(24mph)when
transportingtheplow.
•Donotexceed22km/h(14mph)whenplowing.
•Alwayslowerthebladewhenthevehicleisnotin
use.
•Neverputanypartofyourbodybetweentheplow
andthevehicle.
•Donotclimborrideontheplow.
•Donotoperateonsteepinclines.
•Donotoperatethemachinewhileill,tired,or
undertheinuenceofalcoholordrugs.
