6.2 Anchoring Methods 6.2
Alternatively, you can also use the following anchoring methods for fixing the machine in place:
For ceiling installation:
- Through bolts (threaded rod)
with washers and M16 nuts.
For foundation installation:
- Stone bolts (length 300 mm/11.8 in) for cementing into
recessed or morticed holes (The bolts are not permitted
to be longer than the thickness of the foundation)
or
- Heavy-duty plug with threaded rod
for deeper bore holes
or
- Safety expansion anchor for use in bored holes
or
- Adhesive plugs/shear connectors.

The fixing nuts must be self-locking, with quality conforming to DIN 985.

Attention:
Pay attention to the floor load of the machine floor space.
The bore holes must be deep enough to ensure that the plug stretches in the
concrete.
The usable plug length must be at least 184 mm (7.2 in)
